Easy Shepherd's Pie

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 10 ounces condensed cream of mushroom & garlic soup
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes (i use the refrigerated kind from the store)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f
  • 2 in heavy skillet cook ground beef and onion until beef is brown and onion is tender, stirring to break up meat, about 10 minutes.
  • 3 drain well.
  • 4 stir in vegetables and soup and cook until hot, about 4 minutes.
  • 5 place in 9 inch pie plate.
  • 6 spoon mashed potatoes over hot meat mixture.
  • 7 bake for 35-45 minutes until potatoes are golden brown and pie is bubbling.
