Ingredients

- 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach, cooked and drained
Recipe
- 1 saute mushrooms in butter until tender in large saucepan over medium flame.
- 2 add flour, salt and pepper; cook 1 minute.
- 3 gradually add broth and cream; cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- 4 add spinach and heat through.
