Creamy Mushrooms With Roasted Garlic

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb button mushroom, whipped clean and cut into 1/4
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 bulb garlic, roasted and removed from skins and mashed with fork
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leave, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
Recipe
- 1 in a large heavy skillet, heat the oil over high heat.
- 2 add the mushroom quarters.
- 3 do not move the mushrooms until they have caramelized. when the bottoms are browned, stir them and continue to cook for about 5 minutes.
- 4 add cream cheese and butter and cook and toss for 5 minutes, until nicly coated.
- 5 add the rest of ingredients stir for 2 minutes cooking till mushrooms are coated.
- 6 garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
