Herbed Steak And Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs beef round steak (3/4-inch thick)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms or 2 (4 ounce) jars sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup dry wine or 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups hot cooked noodles

Recipe

  • 1 trim as much fat as possible from meat.
  • 2 cut round steak into serving pieces.
