Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef round steak (3/4-inch thick)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms or 2 (4 ounce) jars sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup dry wine or 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups hot cooked noodles
Recipe
- 1 trim as much fat as possible from meat.
- 2 cut round steak into serving pieces.
