Gourmet Goulash

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups medium noodles (approx. 4 oz.)
- 2 1/2 cups tomato juice (i use v-8 juice, more flavor)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 (12 ounce) can beef broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
Recipe
- 1 brown beef, onion, garlic and salt. add a little oil if you need it (i find i don't).
- 2 add noodles.
- 3 combine tomato juice, worcestershire sauce, celery salt, salt, pepper, beef broth and water in a bowl and stir. pour mixture over beef and noodles.
- 4 cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes (or until noodles are cooked to your liking).
- 5 stir in mushrooms and sour cream. heat through and serve.
