Gourmet Goulash

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups medium noodles (approx. 4 oz.)
  • 2 1/2 cups tomato juice (i use v-8 juice, more flavor)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beef broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

Recipe

  • 1 brown beef, onion, garlic and salt. add a little oil if you need it (i find i don't).
  • 2 add noodles.
  • 3 combine tomato juice, worcestershire sauce, celery salt, salt, pepper, beef broth and water in a bowl and stir. pour mixture over beef and noodles.
  • 4 cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes (or until noodles are cooked to your liking).
  • 5 stir in mushrooms and sour cream. heat through and serve.
