Gourmet Spinach

Total Time: 17 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 lb fresh spinach
  • 1 can mushroom, drained and reserve liquid
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 cook spinach using only the water used to wash it.
  • 2 spinach should be slightly limp.
  • 3 remove spinach and keep warm.
  • 4 add 1/4 cup of mushroom liquid to pot and bring to a boil.
  • 5 add some pepper, butter, onion, garlic and mushrooms.
  • 6 cook over low heat for two minutes.
  • 7 stir some hot liquid into sour cream.
  • 8 add sour cream, heat but do not boil.
  • 9 pour sauce over spinach and toss gently.
