Ground Beef And Wild Rice Casserole

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking wild rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing cubes
Recipe
- 1 cook ground beef and drain.
- 2 add onions, rice and 1 cup water, stir.
- 3 cook in microwave for 3 minutes in 2-quart glass bowl.
- 4 add soup and mushrooms.
- 5 in another bowl, heat butter with the 1/2 cup of water for 1 minute on high.
- 6 stir in stuffing cubes, blend until moist.
- 7 spoon stuffing mixture over meat.
- 8 top with almonds.
- 9 cook on high 12-14 minutes and then let stand and set for 10 minutes before serving.
