Easy Potato Soup

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped ham
  • 5 russet potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 (14 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (14 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, reserving 1 tbsp for first step
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a large stockpot saute the onion and potatoes until the potatoes are barely tender.
  • 2 add ham, soups, milk and remaining butter and bring to a boil stirring frequently.
  • 3 reduce to a simmer and cook until potatoes are tender, stirring frequently.
  • 4 top with cheese and serve!
