Easy Potato Soup

Ingredients
- 3 cups chopped ham
- 5 russet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 1 (14 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (14 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter, reserving 1 tbsp for first step
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 in a large stockpot saute the onion and potatoes until the potatoes are barely tender.
- 2 add ham, soups, milk and remaining butter and bring to a boil stirring frequently.
- 3 reduce to a simmer and cook until potatoes are tender, stirring frequently.
- 4 top with cheese and serve!
