Ingredients

- 3 slices bacon
- 1/4 cup flour
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 2 lbs stewing beef
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon beef bouillon powder
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
Recipe
- 1 cook bacon.
- 2 roll meat in flour, salt, pepper, seasoning salt, marjoram and thyme, and brown in oil.
- 3 add and water and cook until water is evaporated.
- 4 add the garlic, bouillon, wine and mushrooms and simmer for 2 - 3 hours.
