Breakfast Bake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 12 slices bread, crusts removed
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 16 ounces velveeta reduced fat cheese product, cubed
  • 9 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • crisco (to grease pan)

Recipe

  • 1 gather all ingredients, a large casserole dish, a large bowl, a wire whisk, a knife, a can opener, and measuring cups.
  • 2 trim crusts off bread slices.
  • 3 cube velveeta.
  • 4 slice green onions.
  • 5 grease casserole dish.
  • 6 place 6 bread slices in casserole dish.
  • 7 layer mushrooms, green onions, velveeta, and the rest of the bread.
  • 8 beat eggs and milk with wire whisk in large bowl.
  • 9 pour egg mixture over bread.
  • 10 refridgerate at least 1 hour.
  • 11 bake 50 @ 350.
  • 12 knife test for readiness.
  • 13 let stand 10 minute.
