French Style Sauce

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup dry red wine
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
  • 1/2 cup jarred pearl onion, drained
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • minced parsley (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 heat chicken stock and wine to boiling. add mushrooms, reduce heat and simmer until mushrooms are wilted, about 5 minutes.
  • 2 stir in onions and thyme; cook uncovered, about 5 minutes. spoon over chicken. garnish with parsley.
