Fettuccine With Spinach Cream Sauce

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained
  • 15 cherry tomatoes, halfed
  • 1 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook fettucine according to package driections, drain.
  • 2 in a 10"in skillet melt butter, add mushrooms and cook over medium heat stirring until mushrooms are tender.
  • 3 stir in flour, until smooth and bubbly.
  • 4 stir in remaining ingredients and continue cooking, stiring occasionally, until heated through 6 to 8 minutes.
  • 5 serve over fettucine.
