Fettuccine With Spinach Cream Sauce

Ingredients

- 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine pasta
- 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
- 10 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained
- 15 cherry tomatoes, halfed
- 1 teaspoon basil leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook fettucine according to package driections, drain.
- 2 in a 10"in skillet melt butter, add mushrooms and cook over medium heat stirring until mushrooms are tender.
- 3 stir in flour, until smooth and bubbly.
- 4 stir in remaining ingredients and continue cooking, stiring occasionally, until heated through 6 to 8 minutes.
- 5 serve over fettucine.
