Egg Sausage Fondue

Total Time: 1 hr 55 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 8 slices bread
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 grease 9x13-inch pan.
  • 2 cube bread and layer in pan.
  • 3 brown and drain sausage.
  • 4 layer sausage over bread.
  • 5 sprinkle cheese over sausage.
  • 6 beat together eggs, 2 1/4 cups milk, and salt.
  • 7 pour over all layered ingredients.
  • 8 mix 1/2 cup milk and soup.
  • 9 pour over all.
  • 10 cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • 11 bake, uncovered at 300°f for 1.5 hours.
  • 12 let stand for a few minutes until firm.
