- 1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat, cut in 1 inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup burgundy wine
- 1 ounce dry onion soup mix
- 8 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
- hot cooked pasta or rice
Recipe
- 1 in large skillet, brown the meat, draining off the fat. place in slow cooker.
- 2 combine celery soup, mushroom soup, wine and soup mix. pour over meat in cooker.
- 3 cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. serve over hot pasta.
