Fettuccine With No-cook Walnut Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1/2 lb fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup yogurt

Recipe

  • 1 cook fettuccine al dente.
  • 2 toast walnuts.
  • 3 mince basil and garlic in a food processor or blender.
  • 4 add walnuts, parmesan, salt and pepper; pulse to mix.
  • 5 add oil slowly.
  • 6 add half and half and yogurt.
  • 7 pour sauce over pasta.
