Easy Beef-n-cheese Pie

Ingredients

- 3/4-1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells, flute edge
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook beef and onion til done. drain grease.
- 2 stir in mushrooms and cheese.
- 3 pour hot mixture into unbaked pie shell.
- 4 in bowl, combine rest of ingredients.
- 5 beat til smooth.
- 6 pour over beef mixture in pie shell.
- 7 flute edges.
- 8 bake in 350º oven for 35 minutes til golden brown and puffy.
- 9 let stand 10 minutes before serving.
- 10 6-8 servings.
- 11 cooked, crumbled bacon is a nice addition to this, too.
