Crock-pot Beef Stew

Total Time: 6 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb beef, cut into cubes
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 3 carrots, cut into chunks
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton mushrooms, halved
  • 1 small onion, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup frozen corn
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon mrs. dash seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Recipe

  • 1 in a crockpot, layer all ingredients except the flour.
  • 2 cook on high for 5-6 hours.
  • 3 about 1 hour before serving, whisk the flour with 1/2 c of the stock from the stew, then stir it into the stew.
