Crock Pot Sweet & Sour Brisket

Total Time: 12 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs trimmed beef brisket
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 (7 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, and the liquid
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beer
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Recipe

  • 1 place all the ingredients, except the corn starch into a crock pot and cook for 12 hours on low.
  • 2 when finished, remove the brisket, shred, and return to the crock pot.
  • 3 mix the corn starch with a tablespoon of water and add to the stew, mix well.
