Easy Chicken Marsala

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 -6 chicken breasts, pounded thin
  • flour
  • 2 -4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 -3 garlic cloves
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup marsala wine
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • cornstarch (to thicken, if desired)

Recipe

  • 1 coat chicken in flour.
  • 2 heat butter in large frying pan.
  • 3 brown chicken, then take out and keep warm.
  • 4 add garlic and mushrooms.
  • 5 saute until brown.
  • 6 add marsala wine to deglaze.
  • 7 add water and bouillon cubes.
  • 8 simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
  • 9 add chicken and continue to simmer until chicken is fully cooked.
  • 10 (if desired, mix in some cornstarch to thicken).
  • 11 serve with or brown rice.
