Fried Mushrooms

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 scrambled egg
  • 1 lb mushroom (as small as you can find)
  • panko breadcrumbs
  • cooking oil

Recipe

  • 1 heat enough oil to have two inches of depth heat to about 350 degrees.
  • 2 mix flour and garlic salt together.
  • 3 add milk and egg and stir to combine.
  • 4 make another bowl with a shallow bed of panko (add more as needed).
  • 5 dip mushrooms into batter and then into panko, sprinkling additional panko on top of mushroom and pressing lightly.
  • 6 drop into oil and cook until golden brown.
