Gulf Coast Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 2 pints oysters, drained
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, divided
- 1 lb mushroom, sliced
- 2 (12 ounce) packages peeled frozen shrimp, thawed in boiling water
- 1 cup chopped cooked chicken
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon grated onion
- 1/2-1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons sherry wine
- cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 saute oysters in 2 tablespoons butter/margarine until edges curl, then drain.
- 2 saute mushrooms in other 4 tablespoons butter/margarine. & drain.
- 3 combine all ingredients.
- 4 bake at 350f for 30 minutes.
- 5 serve over wild rice.
