Egyptian Pasta Stroganoff

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 cups beef consomme
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup dry egyptian pasta
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (to taste)
  • garlic salt
  • ground pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium pot brown ground chuck and onion. add minced garlic when almost done. drain.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients (except sour cream). bring to a boil.
  • 3 lower heat, cover and simmer until rice/pasta is done. 15 minutes? depends on what kind of rice/pasta you're using. look at package instructions.
  • 4 when done stir in sour cream.
