Chicken With Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

- 8 chicken breasts or 8 boneless chicken breasts
- salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup dry wine
- 3 tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Recipe
- 1 season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 2 heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat; add in chicken and brown on both sides, remove to a plate and keep warm.
- 3 in the same frypan, saute mushrooms and onions until tender.
- 4 stir in wine, butter, salt and pepper.
- 5 in a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water until smooth; add to skillet.
- 6 bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 mins, or until thickened.
- 7 return chicken to frypan.
