Grilled Sage Portabella

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 portabella mushrooms, large
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 12 sage leaves, roughly chopped (more if desired)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (more if desired)
  • 2 tablespoons italian parsley or 2 tablespoons cilantro
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • lemon wedge

Recipe

  • 1 brush mushrooms with oil and salt and pepper.
  • 2 put sage, cilantro and garlic with butter in small pan.
  • 3 saute over low heat about 5 minutes.
  • 4 grill mushrooms about 2 minutes per side or until tender.
  • 5 spoon the sage mixture with the butter over each mushroom.
  • 6 squeeze lemon juice over just before serving.
