Easy "restaurant Pasta" At Home

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (16 ounce) box penne pasta, boiled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 zucchini, cut into bite size pieces
  • 4 -5 mixed mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 cup ready-made bruschetta
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a large pasta pot, boil the pasta as directed.
  • 2 meanwhile, in a large saute pan, on medium high heat cook the chicken breast in olive oil, garlic and italian seasoning- about 10 minutes depending on thickness of strips. add the zuchini and mushrooms to the chicken and cook 5 minutes longer or until the vegetables have softened.
  • 3 drain the pasta and return it to the pot, add the brushetta topping, chicken and vegetable mixture and cheese. toss to mix.
