Cube Steak W/mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

- 2 lbs cube steaks
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 can french onion soup
- 1 -2 cup water
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
Recipe
- 1 preheat large skillet on medium high heat.
- 2 add 1 t.
- 3 oil.
- 4 season cube steaks with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste.
- 5 brown cube steaks in preheated skillet.
- 6 add 1 can french onion soup, 1 cup of water, 1 4 oz can of mushrooms.
- 7 reduce heat, cover and simmer on low heat for 30-45 minutes.
- 8 you may need to add additional water.
- 9 remove meat to platter, cover to keep warm.
- 10 increase heat to reduce pan drippings to desired thickness.
- 11 i serve this with mashed potatoes, and side vegetable.
