Chicken Marsala

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs thin chicken cutlets
  • butter or oil (for sauteeing)
  • 10 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 saute cutlets in butter or oil until browned and cooked through.
  • 2 remove from pan.
  • 3 add butter to pan and add mushrooms.
  • 4 saute until slightly browned.
  • 5 add chicken broth and wine.
  • 6 in a separate cup, mix water and cornstarch; add to pan.
  • 7 bring to a boil and stir until thickened.
  • 8 pour over chicken.
  • 9 serve with rice or noodles.
