Healthy Miso Soup

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup bonito flakes
  • 3 tablespoons miso
  • 4 shiitake mushrooms
  • 16 small scallops
  • 8 medium shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Recipe

  • 1 make dashi stock by adding dashi flakes to the water . bring to boil set aside to cool when flakes float to bottom discard.
  • 2 to make the soup.
  • 3 bring broth to boil.
  • 4 add mushrooms cook for one minute.
  • 5 reduce heat add miso.
  • 6 stir till dissolve.
  • 7 then stir in soy and add shrimp ans scallops.
  • 8 till cook
  • 9 serve 2 shrimp and 4 scallop to each person.
