Goulash

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (10 ounce) can rotel tomatoes
  • 1 lb shell pasta, cooked and drained,do not over cook
  • salt and pepper
  • grated cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown and drain ground beef, set aside.
  • 2 melt butter in pan and cook onion and bell pepper until soft.
  • 3 add ground beef back to pan with mushrooms, tomatoes, sauce, paste and rotel.
  • 4 add in salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 bring to a simmer.
  • 6 cover and cook until the tomatoes start to break down some, about 20 minutes, or as long as you want to cook it.
  • 7 add in pasta and mix well.
  • 8 sprinkle with grated cheese when serving.
  • 9 enjoy!
