Fill You Up Tuna Noodle Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 16 ounces extra wide egg noodles
  • 3 (6 ounce) cans light chunk tuna in water (drained)
  • 1 (20 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, or
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 16 ounces mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups french-fried onions, cheddar flavor

Recipe

  • 1 1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 2. spray bottom and sides of a 9x13 pan with no stick cooking sparay.
  • 3 3. cook egg noodles according to package directions.
  • 4 4. in a large bowl mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, peas, 8oz of cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 cup of french fried onions.
  • 5 5. add tuna and noodles.
  • 6 6. put mixture in 9x13 pan, top with remaining cheese, cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • 7 7. remove foil, top with 1 cup french fried onions and bake for additional 15 minutes.
