Chicken Licken

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (6 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup tomato
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in dutch oven and brown chicken.
  • 2 remove meat and brown onion and garlic.
  • 3 add seasonings, tomatoes, broth and mushrooms.
  • 4 put the chicken back in and simmer, covered for 40 minutes.
  • 5 remove meat and keep warm.
  • 6 blend cornstarch to smooth paste with the cream.
  • 7 stir into sauce. simmer 5 munutes stirring constantly.
  • 8 pour sauce over chicken and serve with hot noodles.
