Homemade Lasagna

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 1/4 ounces spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 16 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat with the chopped up pepper and onion.
  • 2 drain the meat and put back into the skillet.
  • 3 add spaghetti seasoning and tomato paste (add 6 cans of water to start with but you may have to had more water to get to thickness you desire.
  • 4 add mushrooms (drained).
  • 5 season with oregano, garlic salt, salt and pepper and.
  • 6 i add a about a teaspoon of olive oil.
  • 7 let simmer in your skillet stirring occasionally. this does not really take but about 15 minutes to get everything well blended to have your sauce for the lasagna.
  • 8 boil the lasagna noodles and drain.
  • 9 layer 1/3 of sauce in pyrex dish, i use teaspoon to dab on the cream cheese, then add parmesan cheese and mozzarella, layer noodles, then sauce (repeat everything), layer noodles, and sauce with everything added on top.
  • 10 bake on 350°f until gets hot and bubbly (probably about 30 minutes).
