Homemade Lasagna

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 1/4 ounces spaghetti sauce mix
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can mushrooms
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 16 ounces mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese
Recipe
- 1 brown meat with the chopped up pepper and onion.
- 2 drain the meat and put back into the skillet.
- 3 add spaghetti seasoning and tomato paste (add 6 cans of water to start with but you may have to had more water to get to thickness you desire.
- 4 add mushrooms (drained).
- 5 season with oregano, garlic salt, salt and pepper and.
- 6 i add a about a teaspoon of olive oil.
- 7 let simmer in your skillet stirring occasionally. this does not really take but about 15 minutes to get everything well blended to have your sauce for the lasagna.
- 8 boil the lasagna noodles and drain.
- 9 layer 1/3 of sauce in pyrex dish, i use teaspoon to dab on the cream cheese, then add parmesan cheese and mozzarella, layer noodles, then sauce (repeat everything), layer noodles, and sauce with everything added on top.
- 10 bake on 350°f until gets hot and bubbly (probably about 30 minutes).
