Hokkien Mee Healthier

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 200 g yellow flat noodles
  • 4 prawns, shells removed and deveined
  • 2 squid, sliced
  • 1 chopped garlic
  • 1 cai xin, cut into section
  • 2 chopped button mushrooms
  • 1 cup stock
  • 1 cup cornstarch, mixture
  • 1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce

Recipe

  • 1 • stir-fried the prawns, squids , chopped button mushrooms and cai xin with garlic.
  • 2 • set aside.
  • 3 • in a pot, cook the noodle with enough stock to cover it.
  • 4 • when the noodle is cooked, add in the seasonings, prawns, squids, fish cakes and cai xin.
  • 5 • let it cook for ½ minute then slowly stir-in the corn-starch mixture to thicken the sauce.
  • 6 • serve.
